For anyone studying for the USMLE or just medicine in general, the AnKing deck is a great resource. It’s more versatile than other platforms such as Memrise and Duolingo. Make for the USMLE Step examinations it is an all-encompassing deck that is a must for any medical student. Anki can be considered as the Zeus of the pantheon of spaced repetition learning platforms. が often comes out a bit like "nnga" instead of the more percussive "gah" I'm more used to hearing. The AnKing deck is a fantastic deck for medical students around the world. This deck is organised by JLPT level from N5 to N1, and in addition includes a selection of 'common' words: likely to be heard in native everyday conversation. It consists of 5 levels, with JLPT-N5 as a beginner friendly exam for Japanese Language, while N1 is the harderst. The accent of the speakers is not what I'm used to. The JLPT tests are certification of fluency for non-native speakers. People can argue about the most effective way to use flashcards all they want (I have lots of opinions about it, too, most of which Im guessing you couldnt care less about). In this sentence, that is indeed what it communicates, but a more literal translation might have been "In mark work gets really busy." The purpose of this deck is less about increasing your communicative ability in Japanese and much more about boosting your Japanese vocabulary as quickly as possible. They translate 3月は仕事が忙しい。as "I have a lot of work in March.", but 忙しい means "busy" and without looking it up, one might be mislead to think it means "a lot (of work)". Also, there sentence translations often are overly specific or lossy in nuance. It can also mean (to do something) fully, preferable, be glad (of someone's behavior), etc.

They give a definition of よく as meaning often, and maybe it often does, but that's only one of 6 definitions. This deck is intended for people who already understand Japanese to an extent, and want to start learning how to write by hand.
This is extremely handy if someone has already made a deck of cards for an exam you need to study for. Even a machine-translated Japanese dictionary is often better than a J->E one. Anki has a large community and lets you import decks created by other people. You should double check their word definitions with a Japanese dictionary. I just wanted to drop this comment to note a few caveats. Very good set of cards and it's helped me retain a good number of words so far.
